If you completed a course but do not see a certificate under the Certifications tab, use the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.
1. Check your certificate information
Your account must include both of the following:
- A certificate identifier
- Your biennium dates
Certificates cannot be generated without this information, even after you complete a structured or continuing education course.
After entering this info, check the Certifications tab again. If the certificate still does not appear, continue to the next step.
Click here for more info on adding the certificate identifier and biennium date.
2. Check for institutional access
Complete this step only if you received access through a school or another institution. Otherwise, continue to Check your subscription.
Institutional access does not provide the opportunity to earn structured of continuing education.
To review your institutional access:
- Click on your avatar or initials in the upper-right corner.
- Select Access Codes.
- Find the expiration date associated with your access code.
If your access code has not expired, please reach out to support. An agent can manually make the access expire so you can purchase a subscription and begin earning credits.
3. Check your subscription
Your subscription must include structured or continuing education credits for a certificate to be generated.
To review your subscription:
- Select your avatar or initials in the upper-right corner.
- Select Billing and plan.
- Look under the Current subscription tab.
- Review the plan listed on your account.
The Training and Exam Prep plan does not include continuing or structured education credits. These credits are only available with the Cross Training or CE plans.
To change your subscription, select Upgrade plan and choose a plan that includes the education credits you need. Click here for detailed instructions on how to upgrade.
