Why is the Submit button not working?

The Submit or final Next button remains disabled until every question has a recorded response. This helps prevent assessments from being submitted with accidentally skipped questions and being counted as wrong.

Exception: Timed exams automatically submit when the timer expires, even if some questions are unanswered.

Troubleshooting Tips

If the Submit or Next button is grayed out, check for any unanswered questions:

1. Review the question navigation panel on the right side of the assessment.

2. Look for any question that is light gray. A light gray question indicates that no response has been recorded.

   

3. Click the gray question number or circle to return to that question.
4. Select an answer, then click Next to save your response.
5. Repeat until every question has a recorded response. Once all questions have been answered, the Submit or Next button will become available.
