Quick Start Exams

These exams feature:

  • Randomized questions drawn from all categories in the selected modality, providing you with a broad overview.
  • Immediate feedback to help you understand why a particular question is correct after each response.
  • A lack of a timer allowing you to focus on understanding rather than speed.

Ideal Uses:

  • Use Quick Start exams when you’re beginning your study journey or when you want to refresh your knowledge across all topics.
  • These are perfect for short study sessions or when you have limited time, as you can start and stop without the pressure of a timer.

Exam Builder

These exams feature:

  • Extensive customization options allowing you to completely tailor your study session. Exams are created based on the criteria you select. Options include:
    • Selecting specific categories and subcategories you would like covered in the exam
    • Enabling or disabling a timer
    • Receiving feedback on the correct answers as you progress
    • Choosing the number of questions
  • Save exam configurations in the Exam Library for easy use in the future.

Ideal Uses:

  • Focus on specific areas where you need improvement by selecting relevant categories.
  • Simulate exam conditions by using the timer feature to practice pacing and build stamina for the actual exam.
  • Track progress by regularly revisiting saved configurations to monitor your improvement over time.

Exam Simulator

These exams feature:

  • Structure designed to reflect the format and guidelines of the actual ARRT® registry exam.
  • 230 questions with weighted categories to mimic the real exam’s emphases and content.
  • Questions unique to the mock exams and not found anywhere else on the platform.
  • Detailed reporting that provides in-depth analysis of your performance.

Ideal Uses:

  • Use the Exam Simulator as a capstone to your study plan, ideally a few weeks before your exam date.
  • While you may repeat them as many times as you like, the questions will remain the same on each attempt. Use your attempts strategically.
  • Identify weaknesses by analyzing the score breakdown in Reporting to pinpoint areas that require further study.
  • Build confidence by familiarizing yourself with the exam format and time constraints to reduce anxiety on exam day.

While the exams within Prep can certainly aid in the learning process, they should be used in close conjunction with material in Learn. Use Prep to point out your weaknesses and strategically create a comprehensive and effective study plan tailored to your needs. Good luck with your studies!
