The Prep Reporting Dashboard is designed to give you comprehensive reporting on everything your learners are doing in the Prep application of the Clover Learning Platform. This video will give you an overview of the Prep Reporting application including general navigation and application features.

In this video we will show you how to view:

  • Individual assignment reporting
  • Group assignment reporting
  • Assignment activity reporting
  • Reporting for work students complete independently
  • A category breakdown of individual and group reporting in each content category

Accessing Prep Reporting

  1. From your Clover Learning Homepage, click Reporting.
  2. Select PREP Reporting Data.
  3. Use the filters at the top of the screen to customize what you’re viewing. There are *three primary filters:

  • Group Filter – Choose a specific group within your institution.
  • Learner Filter – Select individual students or multiple students.
  • Report Period – Defaults to Past Week. Expand this as desired to view all required activity.

*There is an additional activity type filter just above the results. The Exam tab shows all activity. The Assignment tab only shows exams assigned by you. 


What is Available in the Prep Reporting Dashboard?

This page displays all activity completed in Prep, including assignments and independent exams. Learn activity is available through Learn Reporting.

You will see:

  • Student Name
  • Exam Name
  • Number of Questions Correct
  • Assignment Type
    • Assignment = work assigned by you
    • Exam = independent student practice
  • Content Category Scores (percentages correct in each category)
  • Time Spent
  • Overall Score

View Detailed Exam Results

Click the icon next to a score to open a specific student's exam:

After opening the exam you will be able to view:

  • Questions answered correctly and incorrectly
  • An Exam Summary:
    • Colored donut charts show percentage correct in each content category.
    • Click one of the dount charts for a further breakdown into sub‑content categories

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Why am I only seeing data from the past week?

The report period defaults to the past week. Expand the date range to see all student activity.

Why does an exam show as “Assignment” or “Exam”?

  • Assignment = created and assigned by you
  • Exam = student completed it independently

What does the lock icon mean?

  • Closed Lock: Reserved question bank → no detailed review
  • Open Lock: Open Access → full question review and feedback

Why are the donut charts not showing full class averages?

Expand the list of learners so the dashboard includes all students in the average.
