• Updated

We are delighted to say, yes! There is now a grade book view in your Reporting dashboard. This view will give you a detailed look of how your students are interacting with Learn content as well as a place to go to find all of your students' reporting in one spot.

The following video will show you how to navigate to the grade book view in Learn Reporting:

Accessing the Learn Reporting Application

  1. From your Home Screen, click Learn Reporting.
  2. Select the group of students (or individual student)
  3. Select the time period you want to view:
    • Use manual date selection
    • Or choose one of the preset ranges on the left
  4. Select the course you want to review.

Understanding Course-Level Views

After choosing a course, you will see all modules within it. Click the Activity tab to access three different reporting layouts:

  • Timeline View: Activity listed in chronological order
  • Structured View: Activity organized by course/module structure
  • Learner View (Gradebook View): Activity grouped by learner
    • Displays all activity organized around each learner, rather than by course structure.
    • This is the closest equivalent to a traditional gradebook.

Using the Learner View (Gradebook View)

In the Learner View:

  • Students are listed alphabetically by last name.
  • For each activity item, you will see:
    • Type: Quiz or Lesson
    • Date Completed
    • Score (where applicable)
    • Attempt Details

To View Attempt Details

Click the “i” (information) icon next to a score to open a detailed report.
This page displays:

  • Questions answered correctly and incorrectly
  • Average score across all attempts
  • Time spent
  • A dropdown to switch between multiple attempts

You can compare student performance between attempts—for example, viewing both a perfect score attempt and an earlier lower‑scoring attempt.
