How do I set up two-factor authenticator on my account?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Clover Learning account and can be enabled by the organization you received access through. This feature is not available through personal subscriptions. If your organization has enabled two-factor authentication, you will need to use an authenticator app when signing in.

What You Need

Before signing in, download an authenticator app on your phone. Examples include: Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator

How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication

1. Go to the Clover Learning login page.

   

2. Enter your username and password.

3. After logging in, a QR code will appear on the screen.

   

4. Open your authenticator app on your phone.
5. In the authenticator app, choose the option to add a new account. (Screenshots are taken from Google Authenticator.)

6. 

7. Use the authenticator app to scan the QR code shown on Clover Learning.
8. After the QR code is scanned, Clover Learning will be added to your authenticator app.

9. A verification code will appear in the authenticator app.

   

10. Enter that verification code in Clover Learning to complete login.

Important Note About the QR Code

The QR code must be scanned inside the authenticator app.

Do not scan the QR code using your phone’s regular camera app. Scanning it with the camera app will not correctly connect the authenticator app to your Clover Learning account.

Where to Find Your Verification Code

After setup, your verification code will appear inside the authenticator app. Each time you log in, open the app and enter the current code shown for Clover Learning.

Troubleshooting

If the code does not work:

1. Make sure you are entering the newest code from the authenticator app.
2. Wait for the code to refresh and try again.
3. Confirm that you scanned the QR code using the authenticator app, not your phone camera.
