You'll learn how to filter data by selecting specific mock exams or question banks and adjusting the reporting period to analyze your performance. Also highlighted is the importance of categorical breakdowns in identifying your weak areas and directing your study efforts. Lastly, you will learn how to review your exam attempts and assignments from instructors.
What does the Reporting Dashboard show?
The Reporting Dashboard displays your activity and performance in Prep, including:
- Practice exams (mock exams)
- Question banks
- Exam simulator activity
- Assigned exams from your instructor
⚠️ Important:
- This dashboard only shows Prep activity
- To view Learn (course) scores or quiz results, go directly to the Learn application and open the specific quiz or lesson.
How to Use Filters
Filters at the top of the dashboard control what data you see.
1. Select exam or question bank
2. Set your time period
💡 Your selection determines all data shown below. Only activity within the selected time period will appear.
Understanding Your Performance Metrics
Key Metrics Displayed
- Average Score – Your overall performance
- Progress Trends – Whether your performance is improving or declining
- Time Spent – Total time spent taking exams
- Completed Exams – Number of finished attempts
How to Review Your Exam Attempts
Scroll down to view your individual exam results.
What You Can See
- Exam name
- Number of questions
- Your score
- Assigned exams (if applicable)
How to Review Questions
- Find the exam attempt you want to review
- Click the eye icon (👁️)
- Use the question list to navigate through the exam
Inside Review Mode, You’ll See
- Your selected answer
- The correct answer
- A brief explanation of why the correct answer is correct (mock exams are an exception)
💡 Reviewing questions is one of the most effective ways to improve your score
Viewing Assigned Exams
If your instructor assigns an exam:
- It will appear in your reporting table
- You can:
- View your score
- Review your answers
- Track your performance
