The Learn Application includes multiple assessment types to help you check your understanding and progress. This guide explains the different types of quizzes and assessments, where to find them, and how they work.

There are three different types of assessments found within the Learn application. They are as follows:

  • Video Lesson Quizzes
  • Post-module Assessments
  • Post-course Assessments (CE/SE Assessments)

We will look at each of them in this video.

 

What types of assessments are available in Learn?

There are three types of assessments:

  1. Video Lesson Quizzes
  2. Post-Module Assessments
  3. Post-Course Assessments

Who has access to these assessments?

  • All Plans:
    • Access to Video Lesson Quizzes and Post-Module Assessments.
  • Cross Training and CE Plans:
    • Additional access to Post-Course Assessments (for courses offering continuing and structured education credits).

Assessment Types Explained

1. Video Lesson Quizzes

  • Location: Inside each video lesson, on the right side at the top of the page.
  • How to start: Click Take Lesson Quiz.
  • Purpose:
    • Designed as a knowledge check.
    • Questions are directly pulled from the video lesson.
  • Feedback:
    • Immediate feedback provided as you answer.

2. Post-Module Assessments

  • Location: At the end of each module.
  • Content:
    • Includes all questions from the video lesson quizzes within that module.
  • Purpose:
    • Assesses your understanding of the entire module.
  • Feedback:
    • Immediate feedback, similar to lesson quizzes.

3. Post-Course Assessments

  • Availability:
    • Only for Cross Training and CE plan users.
    • Found at the bottom of the course page for courses that qualify for continuing or structured education credit.
  • Content:
    • Cumulative assessment covering all course material.
    • Includes new questions not seen before.
  • Passing Criteria:
    • Score 75% or higher.
    • Three attempts allowed.
